The Dynamic Duo
Daniel Stein
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Daniel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where his father was a civil engineer. He graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in business marketing and was also a member of the Miami Hurricanes football team. In 1992, amidst the catastrophic storm Hurricane Andrew, which devastated South Florida, Daniel quickly learned the construction business while working with top contractors in Miami.
Kitchen renovations have always been Daniel’s favorite part of construction. In 2015, the Mayor of Hollywood honored Daniel and his wife Kay with an award for the “Beautification of Hollywood” for a property they flipped that was deemed the most improved in the community.
Daniel and Kay have been partners in life and in business since 2000. They have two amazing sons, and in his spare time, Daniel coaches youth football, plays team tennis, and enjoys photography.
Kay Stein
With more than 30 years of experience in interior design, Kay is passionate about helping clients turn their dream kitchens into a reality. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kay was named “Most Likely To Succeed” and graduated valedictorian of her high school class before going on to study interior design at the University of Houston.
Kay has proven her true entrepreneurial skills in the design world. Combining her knowledge of interior design with a real estate license, she and her husband Daniel established a successful business in the development of residential real estate. With more than 10 years of experience flipping houses in South Florida, Kay is able to offer her clients valuable knowledge gained from the teachings of her mentor, Armando Montelongo, the author of “Flip And Grow Rich (The Heart and Mind of Real Estate Investing).” Kay understands very well that a budget is crucial to making or breaking a deal, and that keeping within budget and finishing a project on time is the key to success and getting referrals.
With innovation and creativity, Kay offers her clients great direction by sharing what design style may work best for their homes or family lifestyles. Paying close attention to the client’s wants and needs allows Kay to deliver the dream kitchen!
When Kay is not designing kitchens, she spends time with her two sons and is an avid tennis player.
